Our 2020 Trade Show on Saturday was an absolute blast! Even amongst the COVID-19 outbreak die-hard scrapbookers, stampers, planner girls, journalers and mixed media gals could not be stopped! Here is an overview of the event so you can see all the great new products you can now find in our store!!
We were super pleased to have Karen Burniston Pop-Up dies for cardmaking here at the event. Kathie showed off all the fun card samples and gave everyone a free die!
Which of these interactive cards is your favorite? I think mine is the coffee cup pop-up!!
Leslie got to show off all the fun new stamps, dies, and pearls from Studio Katia! She also gave everyone a free package of pearls! I absolutely adore the Artsy Trimmings stamp and die set. After all, every one of us has a crafty friend in our lives that deserves a little handmade card!
Plus, Studio Katia also has a fabulous tool (similar to the old Kaubaton we sold years ago) to apply gems, sequins and pearls!
Kim got to show everyone the fun new stamps and dies from LDRS. We just adore the sweet little critters and the fun new landscape frame dies.
Not to mention the AMAZING new See-Saw die that works to raise and lower figures at the same time! And Kim gave all attendees a free stencil!
Karen had the true pleasure of showing everybody the new Heidi Swapp Chapters collection that includes binders, journals, paper pads, stickers, 12×12 papers and more. All attendees received a FREE BINDER…yes, a $25 binder!!
These binders have bars in the spine that hold journals in place…a wonderful way to store your completed journals or planners! Karen had a sample journal to show everybody how you can use them for so many things: a journal, planner, recipe book, travel journal, and more! These were a HUGE hit and we sold out of the journals at most showings!
We had two new 3D printed products from Make It By Marko to add to the previously received Glue Holder and Shammy Case. The first new item is the VERY useful Klutter Keeper that keeps all sorts of long, flat things like your paper trimmer, scoreboard, MISTI, iPad, idea books and more up off your valuable table space when not in use!
The second is the new Football Caddy that holds your blender brushes or any other small tools! Make It By Marko…keeping your crafting space organized!
Helen presented the very cool Foundations Decor Click Sticks and Click Frames, which are perfect for any crafter!
Click Frames are fabulous new frames that have strong magnets that click together with the available inserts. They are completely customizable and the possibilities are endless! You truly need to see these to believe them.
There are all sorts of inserts for every season or you can create your own inserts! The frames come in three sizes: 8×10, 12×12 and 16×4. There are four available finishes: Distressed Black, Clean White, Raw Wood, and Dark Stain. Inserts available are Metallic Chalk, Natural Linen, Tile Letter Board, Stained Wood, and Clean White. Letter tiles for the Tile Letter Board insert are also available. The Click Frames we were able to show off are prototypes. The actual product will be available next month, so get your orders in TODAY!
The Click Stick has a top and bottom bar that holds a print, layout, card or canvas in between them with super-strong magnets. They come in three sizes, 9″, 12″ and 17″ and two finishes, natural and dark. Again, the possibilities are endless! The 17″ version even comes with three inspiration quote canvases! Helen also gave all attendees a complete set of 8×10 prints for these Click Sticks!
Maria got to do a Make and Take with everyone so they could try the AMAZING new blender brushes from Pink and Main. This truly is a try it to believe it product. They work so nicely! When I first heard about them I rolled my eyes and thought “not another blender brush!” But HOLY COW…it works SO well…it leaves NO harsh lines or circular markings! Plus, Maria gave everyone a free Pinka and Main stencil! We SOLD OUT of the brush, but do not worry, we have more on order!!! So, call and get on the list to receive yours as soon as they arrive!
Marissa showed everyone the new dies and stamps that were just released to go with the Elizabeth Craft planners we introduced last year. There are some seriously cool new dies to make recipe pages, holiday pages, tag pages and more!
Marissa also gave everyone a great die to take home and play with!
Tammy introduced all the latest stamps and dies from Concord & 9th and gave everyone a FREE stamp…a fabulous Shiplap stamp that is so useful for any occasion card or project!
The truly fabulous stars of this show were the PURSE die and the two new Infinity dies that create never-ending cards!
We were so happy that Antonis Tzanadakis’ new Mechanical Sea World collection from Stamperia came in time for the Trade Show.
Karen created three fabulous layouts with the collection and we created a fantastic layout kit. Also available are all four of the stamps in this collection!
Kimmy showed all the gals the newest mixed-media products from Nuvo. The Crackle Mousse is absolutely amazing. I got to play with it and make the sample cards. I was very impressed with how flexible it is as far as the different looks you can get. Thin layers give you a feathery, fairy wing-like look, while a thick layer gives you cracks reminiscent of a dry desert.
Also available from Nuvo are 8 brand new colors of Vintage Drops, which we introduced last year. This new color set is absolutely gorgeous!
And lastly, we had the new Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pens. These pens are similar to the Wink of Stella pens, but with a lot more shine! All attendees received a FREE Aqua Shimmer pen!
Lynn helped show everybody how cool the Pinkfresh stamps and dies that coordinate with their Washi tape rolls are! So, get this…their wide washi tape rolls coordinate with the dies that coordinate with their stamps. Meaning…the dies CUT OUT the images WASHI TAPE!!! The amazing cards in this picture were cut from the WASHI tape…NO COLORING REQUIRED!
We also brought in their four new lines: Noteworthy, Just A Little Lovely, My Favorite Story, and Super Cool.
All attendees received an ephemera pack from one of Pinkfresh’s amazing paper collections.
Connie got to introduce everyone to the new additions to the Nuvo Luxury tote line…a classy black set and a blue-grey set. Plus, there is a new backpack and an accordion tote. What a great way to coordinate all your crafting luggage! I can not wait to get my set of black…it is just so classy looking! I love it!
But Connie’s job was not done! She also got to show many excited people the new Tim Holtz Deckle Trimmer! While this item is NOT YET AVAILABLE we had a prototype at the event to let everyone try! This handy trimmer is so useful! It creates a quick deckle edge on any paper or photo! perfect for card makers and scrapbookers alike!
And if that was not enough, Connie also got to show the prototype of the brand new Tidy Table Octogaon, coming soon to your favorite scrapbook store, Scrapbook Super Station! This handy unit attaches to your table and has a spot for your cup and an attached circular bin that can be used for tools or as a trash can!
Sandy got to show the simply adorable BACKPACK die from Dare 2B Artzy! This is no normal die! It is large enough to hold an entire set of cards and can be attached to a stuffed animal!!! Or, you can leave the straps off and use it just as a cute box. What a fabulous gift this would be for someone!
But that wasn’t the only thing that was super fun from Dare 2B Artzy. There was a super sweet new bear and bee collection, teacher stamps and dies, cute girl gnomes and the super popular mailbox die that is large enough to hold a gift card!
Carolyn was able to show off the newest dies just added to the Book Maker series by Tonic. The new styles offer a larger format for a lot more book-making fun!
One thing to note about these new dies is the requirement for a larger format die cut machine…like a Sizzix Big Shot Plus (available now in-store) OR….
the brand new Sizzix Big Shot Switch Plus machine!!! This new machine is electric and has an auto-feed feature, along with a reverse button. It weighs just 12 1/2 pounds and this large-format machine has a very small footprint! It comes with dies and a 3D embossing folder and all the platforms required! Attendees were able to preorder this fabulous machine that retails for $259.99 for just $199.99…a $60 savings!
Kristen showed off the AMAZING stamp and die sets from Maker’s Movement. These sets have an incredible price point at just $14.99 and $9.99. There are super cute designs and they are so much fun! Kristen gave everyone a free set of die picks and a set of charms to add their handmade creations.
We also introduced 49 & Market’s new Vintage Artistry collection. This paper collection comes in four different colorways: Coral, Sage, Natural and Sky. Each collection consists of four papers in a package that also contains two sheets of laser cuts, a Collage Stack, and a Stitched Frames set. They also have a new product called Wishing Bubbles, epoxy bubbles, some with foam and some without. We created kits with two layouts in each kit and all attendees received a beautiful floral vine.
Carol introduced our attendees to the fabulous world of Melt It! from Wow! Embossing Powders! They made a fun make and take were they filled wooden frames with Melt It! Powder! Along with that, we introduced several new Trio Collections…from artists such as Seth Apter, Sara Neuman, Jo Firth-Young, Tracy Scott and Catherine Pooler. And brought in the Sparkles collection…fun chunky confetti you can add to any project! Not only did attendees get to make a fantastic card, but they also received a free embossing powder!
Nobody could believe the amazing totes and bins that Terri was showing off. These totes are rugged, made extremely well and are wipeable. They come in three fun patterns and in six different sizes. The Essential Totes are probably the most useful…they are the perfect size for just about every craft item you can think of!!! Oh…but did I mention the best part? The PRICE! You just wouldn’t even believe it if I told you. These are a MUST see. So, stop in soon!
Karyn had an amazing Make and Take for attendees using the Creative Expressions Aurora Flakes and Opal polish…the flakes are so sparkly and the color combinations are so beautiful! You MUST see these samples to appreciate how gorgeous they are. She combined the flakes and polish with their intricate new dies and the results are simply stunning.
In conclusion, attendees received $153 worth of merchandise, amazing deals on all the new products and had a fabulous time. If you missed it we are so sad about that, but you can see all this amazingness in person at the store right now!
