Join us on September 4th at 1:00 PM when guest teacher Michael Boyd will teach you how to create a beautiful fall album!
The Fall Forest 8×8 Easy Album is the perfect treat for all your seasonal memory making. We will learn how to construct the new 8”x8” Easy Album and fill it with coordinating patterned paper, solid paper, and chipboard embellishments. You will complete the entire album from start to finish including all the measurements you need for each page. The information in the class can be used in many albums to come for any occasion or celebration. We will utilize Distress Inks and Simple Die cuts to create our own added embellishments for more dimension and texture. After the class you will have a basic understanding of easy album making principals which are valuable tools to create more memories! Students will need to supply a paper trimmer, scissors, bone folder/scoring tool, double sided adhesive such as scor-tape, glue, ink blending tool, and Distress ink. We will be using Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress ink in class; other recommendations are Vintage Photo and Rusty Hinge.

A little about Michael: Michael grew up in Pittsburgh and has been creating with paper one way or another since a very young age with his grandmother. He loves sharing new skills with people and creating fun projects for memory keeping. He works full time at Brutus Monroe as the Director of Retail Operations and leads the initiative to support small independent stores. Keeping small business alive is one of his goals. His love for paper crafting wouldn’t be the same without all the kind & generous folks he has met at these independent stores. In his free time, he enjoys going to crafting events, creating new ideas/projects, & spending time with his puppy Henry. Michael is so glad you’re here & hopes you learn some fun new skills!
