September 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Each month in the Project Class we complete a different project helping you learn the features of the Silhouette machine and software and what you can do with it. This class isn’t necessarily about making pretty things, it’s more about learning what you can do with your machine.  This class is taught by a Licensed Instructor for Silhouette. Each participant will bring their own Silhouette Portrait or Cameo machine, a laptop with the Silhouette software pre-loaded, cords, blades, and cutting mats.  Be sure to read the details of each project, sometimes you’ll be required to download an image or bring an item necessary to complete the project.

The Silhouette Project classes for August and September will be learning how to properly cut fabric with your Cameo.  Yes, you can cut fabric with the Cameo!  My example is wall art but you can use what you learn in this class to make items to decorate many other things with fabric.  The design I used is Design number 270476 from the Design Store with a few custom changes.  If you want to take this class, please download the design you would like to use, making sure the cuts are fairly simple.  The Silhouette doesn’t cut intricately when we’re cutting fabric.  And chose quilting cotton fabric for your design.  Then iron fabric stabilizer to the fabric such as Wonder-Under before you come to class.  The canvas mat board will be provided.
